Indoor Resource Center

Interactive Exhibits

During your visit to the Resource Center, take time to see the interactive exhibits. Each exhibit has a list of questions to help you explore and learn more about your actions, Spokane, and our world.

  • Act Locally presents behaviors that help you take personal actions to reduce the pressure on the Earth's resources. Find a new action that you can try.
  • The Spokane Scene depicts many ways to recycle and conserve energy. The mural also shows the aquifer beneath Spokane with the activities that affect water quality.
  • Night Lights of the World provides the opportunity to "think globally". This satellite image of the world shows resources used by the geographic areas relative to their populations. Look for the answer to each question printed on the flaps at the base of the exhibit. (The answers can be found in the text of the exhibit.)

Portable Displays

A variety of portable displays are available for educational purposes. They can be checked out from the Green Zone. Click here to learn more about the variety of topics and how to reserve a display.
